Posters
This collection of "posters"; are advertising for on-line forum role-playing events. No, not for Dungeons &
Dragons games or anything so complex, but for silly ideas that got thrown into the conversational ring and played with.
Each page, by the way, will open in a new window, but you'll be happy to know that I've finally figured out how to use
a 'close window' script.
The Haw: This was not only the first poster I'd ever done, but one for the first
forum I'd ever visited.
Alice In Wonderland: The next forum I ran across was "Callahan's Saloon",
based on the science-ficton books by Spider Robinson.
We Flew Into The Cuckoo's Nest: In a related forum, this idea came up after one
too many coffees in the chat room.
Backstage Plans: While we were discussing the technical aspects of "Cuckoo",
we also discovered that there were several things we didn't know about the theatre. This was our change to learn about them.
Heroes: I was asked to design a poster for a book that someone else had written.
In the end, her editor advised her to use a professional illustrator. I learned something doing the work, so I don't mind.
