Mother: Dedra of Sharidell Housekeeper to Parigian's household.
Home: She grew up in the Twisted Tower, home of the Mage, Parigian, and spent most of her time either in the stables or exploring the countryside with her friends. Loviath left Sharidell 6 years ago and was rumored to be working with the Harpers.
Friends: Perigian Sarishae - Elven Mage/ Fighter. The two children grew up together, but Perigian wasn't overly interested in a young human girl.
  Rigian Dalestrider - Halfling Fighter/Thief/Mage: They became friends when Dalestrider came to the Twisted Tower, a friend of Perigian's.
  Surier, TruthSeeker - Human Cleric: Surier and Loviath became friends when Loviath went to school at Fisher Keep. He is the main reason she left.
  Tun Karien Sharidell - Human Bard: He was a student at Fisher Keep, both friend and tutor to Surier.

Comments and Observations:

Loviath, despite her seeming self-confidence in most situations, is rather shy. She wears baggy clothes in order to hide her shape, partly for safety reasons, partly out of self-consciousness. Before she started school, Loviath spent a great deal of time tagging along after Perigian and Rigian, much to their disgust. She vowed that, one day, she'd be good enough to be acceptable to the Elven community.

While studying at Fisher Keep, her social position as a member of the Mage, Perigian's, household, she was often thrust into the company of the wealthier families of the town. She didn't share the concerns of the rest of the young women, being more interested in outdoor pursuits than in clothes and a good marriage. She was trying to avoid a 'dress-up' occasion when she first met Karien and Surier.

Loviath ran away from Fisher Keep and Kape Valla because she didn't know how to handle Surier's infatuation for her. At least, that's what she believed it to be. When the visiting cleric, Morgan, and her friends left Fisher Keep, she followed them. During the following six years, she trained with both Storm and Morgan and with the Harpers Guild. She travelled to Alfed, staying there for a time and becoming HeartMate to Ornthalus, the leader of the Drake Riders. Harper Business brought her back to Fisher Keep in time to become one of the "Chosen of Swordmeet".
