The chart you see is used by The Weather Network for their online, 14-day weather forecasts. It is a simple line graph and is in keeping with the rest of the site. I'm not so sure it works all that well as it is, though. It would be nice to see the exact temperature forecast for a given day, rather than taking a guess. The linear measurements aren't the greatest, in my opinion, but they'll do in a pinch.
The map you see is used by the Royal Ontario Museum as part of their online presence. It's actually two maps, one that gets you into the city and one that details where the museum is in relation to the larger thoroughfares. It does precisely what it was meant to do, show someone how to get to the museum. The detailed map could be clearer, using a slightly larger font perhaps, but all in all, it's not bad. The map follows the colour scheme set out for the "Plan Your Visit" section, a repeat of the green and gold in the headline photo. There is a printable version of the map that's a little easier on the eyes, thankfully.
